ConductClass privacy notice

This notice explains what we collect, why we use it, and how schools control their records.

ConductClass is a Conduct Science, Inc. service for schools. This notice adds product details to the ConductScience Privacy Policy.

Who controls school records

The school decides how teachers and students use ConductClass. When we handle education records for a school, we do so for the school and under its directions.

Students and parents should ask their school first to view or correct an education record. We will help the school answer the request.

What we collect

  • Account details, such as name, school email, password record, role, and sign-in history.
  • School details, classes, teacher invitations, student rosters, and class codes.
  • Assignments, student answers, results, charts, teacher comments, ratings, and revisions.
  • Support messages and records of account, access, export, and deletion actions.
  • Basic device, browser, network, and error details needed to keep the service secure and working.

Do not enter health records, Social Security numbers, payment card details, or other information that a science assignment does not need.

How we use it

  • Run classes, assignments, student work, teacher review, and school reports.
  • Manage accounts, school limits, invitations, and support.
  • Protect the service, prevent misuse, find errors, and recover from failures.
  • Meet our agreement with the school and our legal duties.

We do not sell student data. We do not use it for ads. We do not use student work to train AI models.

When we share it

We share data only with service providers that help us run ConductClass, with the school that controls the account, when the school asks us to, or when law requires it.

Our current hosting and database providers are listed on the service providers page. We require them to protect the data they handle for us.

Cookies

ConductClass uses cookies needed for sign-in, security, and saved sessions. We do not use advertising cookies.

Keeping and deleting data

A school can choose how long saved and completed student work is kept. Available choices range from 90 days to seven years. Account, billing, security, and legal records may follow a different schedule.

A school manager can request an export or deletion. We confirm deletion requests with the school before we remove records. Backup copies expire under the backup schedule and are not returned to normal use.

Your choices

Schools can ask us to provide, correct, export, or delete their data. Students and parents should make these requests through the school. Email hello@conductscience.com if the school needs help.
